The Hawn Foundation United Kingdom

The Hawn Foundation UK is pleased to offer MindUP training across the United Kingdom.

The MindUP Programme has been successfully piloted in a range of schools in England and Wales in the school year 2010-11. We are currently developing partnerships with schools interested in implementing MindUP in their own setting as well as offering one day introductory courses around the UK.

A MindUP School Partnership involves:

  • An initial day of whole staff training in the MindUP curriculum;
  • Access to the MindUP Evaluation toolkit so schools can monitor and evaluate the success of the programme in their own school;
  • Membership of the online community of the growing number of schools and educators who are using MindUP;
  • A follow up training day tailored to meet the needs of the school possibly involving parent workshops, whole school training or coaching of the MindUP Coordinator in the school.

One-Day Introductory Course for MindUP

The next one-day course for teachers and educators wanting to learn more about the MindUP Programme, what it offers, and the research behind will be offered on 24 April 2012 in Central London. Cost per delegate is £250. Online booking will be available 1 February 2012 through The Hawn Foundation website for this introductory course.
